From TED Ankara College, Turkey

"Hello from TURKEY!!!
As TED Ankara College, we will get our 5 and 6 year olds and 3rd, 4th and 5th graders to be involved in this activity. This activity will be done through parent-teacher association. There will be a speech about the importance of the day. Then, we will start planting our trees. After planting our trees, we will dance around the trees with our special dance choreography called "Happiness Dance".  We all make circles holding our hands. With the music, we start turning around and clapping keeping pace with the rhythm of the music. First, we say hello to all our friends (waving hands to our friends in the circle), hello to the world (turning back and waving hands to the people outside the circle). Then, we say hello to the sun (waving hands up to the sun), hello to the earth (waving hands to the ground), hello to peace and friendship (standing shoulder to shoulder) and hello to the our own self, to our  future (embracing own selves).
At the end of the activity, all the participants will be given certificates special to ENO Tree Planting Day.
We are very happy to be able to share this experience with you and would like to share our song and video later.
Thank you..."
